Am I My Sister's Keeper?
Yesterday, I thought to myself "Am I My Sister's Keeper?" One may ask "my sister's keeper...what does that mean?" My sister's keeper means supporting other women instead of envying them or putting them down because you are a **hater** or because you have issues within yourself. So many women look at the next woman and make negative statements or judge her only because her hair may look nice, or she as a great eye for style, or even the car she drives or her financial standing. Are envy, hate, or judgment positive words? NO, they are not, how is putting another person down positive for any individual involved. Many women say "I don't care if anyone hates on me that motivates me", that may be true to an extent but you can't honestly say that whatever negativity was brought your way that it did not bother you especially if you treat everyone with respect and dignity. My point of this message is to inspire all women black, white, hispanic, asian, what have you to try to channel all the negative energy used to envy, hate, or judge someone into positivity and encouragement. That's how you become "Your Sister's Keeper" and the cycle will repeat itself. ~lovejoyasha~
